i know i have a midterm in less than two hours, and that there are many tedious little details that i should be memorizing..and this is no time to look back and have revelations and bitch...but do you realize that throughout all twelve years of education that i've had, i have learned nothing of the Orient..nothing about the Chinese Empire...no history. nothing about how civilization began there.. as if one of the most important powerful significant areas of the world didn't exist at all. it's beautiful...absolutely fantastic.
