school's out for...the school

when i got out of my final today, i called my mom to tell her i got a 95 on my last paper. she said "oh, so you should always not work hard. then you'll get A's." then she quoted 3rd rock laughing, "if you go to a good school, you will only feel stupid." right she is. all the same would it kill her to be satisfied once in a while?

and then they wonder why everyone always blames the parents. i mean jesus. do they forget that for 18 years they were the ones who fed you thoughts and character?

summer's almost out, and i will have to return to the "land of fear and shame" as he puts it so nicely. not that i don't miss the place, by any means. but one thing i've digested these three months is that wherever i go, the sky is truly the same color. bleak or blue.

i go to boston on friday. i plan for the sky to be the same color there too. just with a hint of sina all around.
