i woke up at six today. cramps out of the first glimmer of light of day. it's almost twelve now, and i'm stable enough now to check email and whatnot.

then i saw in my mailbox a link to a news story about the siege in the russia school. i couldn't help it. i had to read it. what right have i got.

muslim guerillas? it made me so sick to my stomach, i felt like a child who doesn't understand the first thing about how the world works. i don't even see a connection. maybe i'm ignorant about the more obscure indirect relations nowadays.

i need a hug.
